What are reception hours? caret-down

São Rafael Holidays’ reception is not open 24 hours. From April to October the reception is open daily between 9:00 and 00:00. From November to March, it is open daily, on a reduced schedule, between 9:00 and 22:00.

What can I do if I arrive after the reception closing time? caret-down

If you expect to arrive after the reception closing time, please let us know in advance by emailing us at: reception@saorafaelalgarve.pt or by phone: (+351) 961686120 and we will send you the instructions.

Is there a 24-hour phone number available? caret-down

Yes, we have a contact that is available 24 hours a day in case of emergency when the reception is closed. The number is: (+351) 961 686 120.

Services

Does São Rafael Holidays have a regular shuttle service to/from Faro airport? caret-down

São Rafael Holidays does not have this regular service, however it can organize occasional transport to/from Faro airport in a car with driver and air conditioning, at an additional cost, which varies depending on the total number of people and arrival/departure time.

Facilities

What types of accommodation do you have? caret-down

São Rafael Holidays has double rooms situated in the Guesthouse, townhouses with private pool – Ocean Villas – townhouses without private pool – Palm Villas – and 1 and 2 bedroom apartaments.

Are the pools heated? caret-down

Only the pools of the Ocean Villas can be heated when requested by the guest, at an extra cost.

Does São Rafael Holidays have facilities for people with physical difficulties? caret-down

Our units have some adapted typologies, but the best option is to contact us directly so that we can give you the best advice.

Does São Rafael Holidays provide towels for the pool/beach? caret-down

São Rafael Holidays provides pool/beach towels in all Accommodation Units.

Food Regime

What is the standard regime for Villas and Apartments? caret-down

The standard regime for the Villas and Apartments is “Accommodation Only”, i.e. no meals are included.

However, for a supplement, guests may pre-book breakfast on a takeaway basis.

The reservation must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival, for the entire duration of the stay and is subject to the availability of our services.

Check-in / Check-out

What time is check-in/check-out? caret-down

Check-in can be done from 16:00 and check-out should be done till 11:00. Check-in and check-out are both done at the Guesthouse reception.

Is it possible to check in earlier? caret-down

This situation is always upon availability. You can always leave your bags with us at the Reception and stay at the Guesthouse pool until your accommodation is ready.

In case your accommodation is ready before the check-in time, we will be happy to let you check-in. Of course, this situation can never be guaranteed and is only possible to know on the day of arrival itself.

To guarantee an early check-in, we suggest that you book the night before your arrival.

Is it possible to check out late? caret-down

This situation always depends on availability and may have associated costs. It is only possible to confirm on the day of departure.

To guarantee a late check-out, we suggest you book an additional night to your stay.

Location

What is the distance from the Units to São Rafael Beach? caret-down

Our units are about 10 minutes’ walk (about 800 metres) from São  Rafael Beach and Arrifes Beach.

Deposit

Do the Villas require a deposit at the time of check-in? caret-down

Yes, in cash or credit card pre-authorisation:

Studios = 200€
1 Bedroom Appartments = 200€
2 Bedrooms Apartments = 300€
V2 Villas = 300€
V3 Villas = 400€

Pets

Do you accept pets? caret-down

Animals up to 25 kg are allowed in the Ocean Villas, up to a maximum of 2 animals per reservation.

Stays of 3 nights or less will have a cost of € 60 per pet;

For stays longer than 3 nights, the cost per night is 20 euros per pet/night.

A security deposit of €100 per pet is required upon check-in.

This deposit is refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the property.

A pet liability waiver must be signed upon check-in for the pet(s).
